📖 About the boat

Heritage Cruises Binh Chuan is a 75-metre, 20-suite boutique vessel launched in 2019 and operated by Lux Cruises Group. Rather than the crowded Tuần Châu day-route, it sails the Cát Bà Archipelago and Lan Hạ Bay — the same UNESCO limestone seascape with a fraction of the boat traffic — reaching pristine beaches, secluded lagoons, caves and floating villages most cruises never visit. The boat embarks and disembarks at Tuần Châu International Marina (No.28B), a 30–40 minute speedboat transfer from the Heritage Cruises Lounge to the vessel in the archipelago.

Powered by two tier-three Caterpillar engines and crewed by 40 staff for a maximum of 40 guests (1:1 ratio), Heritage carries two restaurants (Le Tonkin and L'Indochine), a 360-degree swimming pool with private cabanas, the White Lotus Spa (sauna + 2 treatment rooms), the L'Art de l'Annam art gallery of Vietnamese artists, Bach Dang Wine Cellar, a top-deck gym, the Bach Thai Buoi Library and Van Don antiques shop. All 20 suites have a private balcony, bathtub and shower, and full ocean views. An English-speaking experience manager and cruise director are on board every sailing.

What's the difference between the Discover (2D1N), Explorer (3D2N) and Expedition (4D3N) itineraries?
Discover (2 days/1 night) is the classic short program — Ba Trai Dao / Tra Bau beach, kayaking and the Dark & Bright Cave. Explorer (3 days/2 nights) adds a full day in Lan Hạ Bay including Viet Hai village (bicycle/electric-car through the national park). Expedition (4 days/3 nights) is the same as Explorer plus an extra day to explore Cat Ba Island in depth — Trung Trang or Quan Y cave, the local market and beach.
Where does the cruise embark and disembark?
Both at Tuần Châu International Marina (Heritage Cruises Lounge, No.28B), Halong City. From the lounge it is a 30–40 minute speedboat transfer to the vessel in the Cát Bà Archipelago. Pick-up from your Hanoi Old Quarter hotel is 08:00–08:30 (optional shuttle), with expected return to Hanoi 14:00–14:30.

What if weather cancels my trip?
Embarking/disembarking times can change with weather and port-authority conditions. If the cruise cannot operate, the operator assists with transfer to another vessel in the Cát Bà Archipelago or a no-charge cancellation. The cabin rate excludes a fuel surcharge if any is imposed.
Can I book private charter for a group?

Is the transfer from Hanoi included?
No — hotel-to-pier transfer is not in the cabin rate. Options: Shared Limousine D-car 475,000 VND/person/way, or a Luxury private Limousine D-car (8 seats) 6,700,000 VND/car round-trip. Children under 5 ride free (same seat as parents).
